IMSS: Digitalization of the Employer Identification Card

On September 8, 2026, Agreement No. ACDO.AS2.HCT.310826/238.P.DIR (the “Agreement”) was published in the Federal Official Gazette (Diario Oficial de la Federación, the “DOF”). Through this Agreement, the Mexican Social Security Institute (Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social, “IMSS”) implements the Digital Employer Identification Card (Tarjeta de Identificación Patronal Digital, the “Digital TIP”) via the IMSS Mailbox (Buzón IMSS).
